hmmm.... sounds like another remark from the ignorant and uneducated.... Just for the record, I had a 2003 altima as a rental when i was sideswiped in my accord... that thing was a "peice." The headliner was comparible to the headliner in a kia rio, this i can say because enterprise first put me in a Kia then the altima... This car was a total dissappointment to drive. My buddy's civic ran that thing down... it is just an EX coupe civic with a cold air intake and Greddy evo exhaust, so it wasnt anything special. The dashboard in this car creaked in every corner i took but at least it creaked in harmony with the cheap ass door panels and the groaning 2.5L panzy ass engine struggling to keep up with traffic. Even tho my Accord is a stick, i ahve driven many auto accords and they shift nice and precise. On the contrary, the altima, with only 14K miles, cheated me out of like 500 rpms to redline(maybe it knew the car couldnt handle it) and slushed into the next gear about like a chevy but maybe worse...

This is a stupid thread Honda accords are better than altima's.............It just a fact!

Just bought an '89 that's right '89 Accord (carbureted) 2.0L automatic. Now surprisingly after driving it about 1000 clicks this weekend it runs reasonably.

Anyone who has or has had one of these know the quirks I should look for?
