I drive a 1998 1.6L GXE. My car seems to be running great, but the temperature is staying just barely above cold and the heater is not putting out much for heat, just warm air when turned up all of the way. Does anybody have any ideas about what this could be and how to fix it?

Thanks!

Anybody? It snowed this morning and I really miss having my heater....

Sounds like a thermostat stuck open IMO. Very easy to check and replace. A thermostat and gasket should run you less than $15. Oh and make sure you check your coolant level (duh). Let me know if you don't know how to change the thermostat.

It sounds like the thermostat is stuck open, so it's not giving the engine a chance to warm up before it starts trying to cool it back down.
