2001 'teg greddy....KrazyD 11-16-2003, 10:58 PM i have a 2001 ls, looking to put on streetlegal turbo. i've looked through greddy's website but didn't see any kit for it. does it exist? will the 96-99 kit fit? any info appreciated. /d KrazyD 11-19-2003, 12:53 PM someone help the poor n00b out please mattbrye 11-19-2003, 09:59 PM Ill give ya some quick help, if you want real power dont get greddy turbo. Greddy overcharges way to much and you can get a much better kit with intercooler included(which greddy doesnt include in their kit) for the same or cheaper. Look up Rev Hard or Drag Gen....tell me if i helped/ KrazyD 11-20-2003, 12:06 AM that defintely help. i'm open to suggestion 'til i get one. however, are those other kits street legal? i'm in vt, so they're pretty strict, as far as enforcing laws goes. one of the main reason i picked (or would like to pick) greddy is that they're street legal, so i'm told. but you're right, greddy is a tad over priced, i've seen a drag gen kit for lower from one of the website. more inputs please :) imprtsyco 11-20-2003, 08:32 AM Krazyd what part of vt are you from? also check out edelbrock they just came out with a street legal kit and it comes with everything. im not sure if they make it for your model but you can check it out. KrazyD 11-20-2003, 12:49 PM thanx syco, i'll check it out. i'm in south burlington. familiar w/ the area? edit: also, what are some good places online to order kits? prices, reliability...? /d KrazyD 11-23-2003, 01:56 PM blah, edelbrock doesn't make kit for 01 teg yet :( PWMAN 11-27-2003, 10:26 AM blah, edelbrock doesn't make kit for 01 teg yet :( Just wait, it will be out soon. Save up $$$ for it in the mean time, because at the same time you put that kit on you should get a better exhaust system. And you might want to think about upgrading the clutch too. It will be worth the wait, that kit is SOOO sweet. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
