I am new to honda performance and i recently bought a 93 civic and i believe it has a b18b motor but am not sure as noone where i live can tell me. I was curious on pointers on how to know and also pointers on converting to a GSR type motor... any help is appreciated

There should be a stamp on the transmission case. If you look at the oil dip-stick and look slightly down to your left on the tranny there is an engraved engine code. Like between the distributor cap and the oil dip stick look down. Assuming its the same place on acura motors. When I told my friends I had a d16z6 engine they didn't believe me- go figure :dunno:- they looked there.
