Hey anyone know what they added to the skyline from the movie 2 fast 2 furious??

search this forum, there was a thread about it about two months ago.

the 2 fast 2 furious skyline sux,it has a 5.8 0-60, and like a 13.?? sec Q/m, they took out the front drive shaft for better drifting, not more AWD, its movie car, thats all, its built for looks

2 fake 2 phony had a r34 and went in to production in 1998 the 1989-1993 skyline is the r32 :eek7: you should know this and alot more before you think about owning a skyline

those cars were almost all stock,with a few stickers...

the NX tanks aren't even for the engine, their just for show, and for when Mark sprays it out the wheel well

Actually the non-GTR R32 production ended in early 93, where the R33 non-GTR's began production with the base models.
The R32 GTR was in production from 1989-1994
R33 GTR 1994-1998
R34 GTR 1998-2001 though a special NURspec was produced in late 2001.

First I think owning an R34 GTR would be the first order of business. Second it wasn't tricked out it was a pig. I say pig because it was nothing more than a bunch of flash bits which things like the NOS weren't even hooked up at the time so I've read. The fact it was pretty standard and a lot of extra weight made it the times so shockingly slow.

Look to the UK, Austrailia and Japan for real ones.
The one in the film is the first I've seen with Nitrous!! well.. nitrous buttons anyway! Seems to be an American thing. Truth is you can get 600hp for a relieble everyday street car and they where scared by a 400hp yank tank!!

V8 with a Supercharger, nuff said. Solid rear axle with a Wolfe Suspension does not hurt either.

do you actually own an r34 at all?
the car in the movie is based on the Blackbird, one of the first r34's in the states. it was bought by craig lieberman, and painted blue. 3 tanks from Nitrous Express are in the passenger seat area. big system.
carbon fiber intake box from K&N Japan. some other nice toys as well...
if you do a search on the Blackbird R34, you may find what you're looking for...

right. there are far more nitrous users in Japan than we realize...

And the Man has been using N2O on the RB26DETT for years now.

i have been in japan for a little over 6 years. I have been all over for races, tokyo, hatch, and okin. I have never in my time here seen a single car with nitros. the japanese dont seem to need or like n2o. i have seen many cars with well over 1000 hp that dont have any need for nitros. so in response, if any do use nitros, they are americans that still think nitros is used alot. but national wise, i have never seen it.

a 2-3 second spray is more than enough to clear the lines of any air or gaseous nitrous..
with all the under neons in that thing it woulda looked betta coming out from underneath like a mist..well, thats i wat think anywayz.

I ran the car at IDRC in December 2001 . With nitrous it ran 10's.

Big Bird was Motorexs car . Still is Motorexs car. Before I left Motorex I was turning it into a Street Class Drag race car . The motor /trans were out of it.

Still were the last time I saw the car.

Too bad. That was such a nice car, with an interesting history to boot. Wasn't it originally white and used by Rhys Millen in the Pike's Peak Hillclimb before being painted yellow for TF&TF?

I thnk it was the issue of Sport Compact Car on street racing from last summer, that had Sean and Big Bird on the cover with a police Hummer behind them. I get bored easily, so I read my magazines over and over again. :icon16:
