h22a in my 94 civic cxflyguy879 11-13-2003, 01:39 PM i'm looking to swap my engine in my 94 civic cx, i was thinking of an h22a due to the massive torque of the engine. would it kill my ride? make it so it only goes straight? ive heard that if you put an h22 in your civic it'll be fine, just put some stiffer springs/shocks ie: for an integra. does the h22 engine hang down a whole lot lower then a b/d series? am i going to be scraping my header on the ground all the time? any advice would be much appreciated Ricochet 11-13-2003, 01:48 PM god dammit noob read the shit at the top of the forum called THE COMPLETE 92-00 CIVIC OWNERS ENGINE SWAPPING GUIDE, or read any of the other billion posts with the same exact question by lazy retards like you with 1 post who don't know how to search. Miataracer 11-13-2003, 01:56 PM  take off the bib, there will be no spoon feeding today... That being said, I am not trying to be a dick, and it is nothing personal against you. Around here people always come in asking questions that have already been answered so many times it isnt even funny. People get very annoyed and angry when this is the case. For the sake of helping you out for the first time I will give you this advice. 1. Start by reading the Engine Swap Guide at the top. It is there for a reason. 2. Use the search function. It is also at the top, and also there for a reason. Type in things such as "h22a" "Civic swap" etc. You are bound to find things to read. 3. Use a search engine such as google, yahoo, excite... whatever. Do basically the same thing as in step #2. 4. Be thankful when people do help you instead of being an asswipe. (not saying what you posted made me think you are one, or anything else of that sort) Just a bit of friendly advice, the nice people get what they came for, the asswipes get torn apart. Otherwise, welcome to the forum! :naughty: flyguy879 11-13-2003, 02:35 PM lol sorry guys i'm definatly new, but ha i did read that think about swapping, and i did decide to go with a b series and FI later if i want to thanks flyguy879 11-13-2003, 02:37 PM ok i read all kinds of different stuff, i'd like to say thanks for your help, (see im not being an asswipe) and ive found lots of help in these forums Miataracer 11-13-2003, 02:39 PM probably a wise choice... I too pondered the h22a for a good while but I would rather not do without A/C and powersteering on a daily driver. But man, the power is so tempting!!! Ricochet 11-13-2003, 03:07 PM <---asswipe Miataracer 11-13-2003, 03:59 PM Allow me to make this more clear... Ricochet, I was NOT calling you an asswipe. In fact, I agree with most of the posts you make. I was calling the new people that come in here and bitch when we tell them to use the search function asswipes! Ricochet 11-13-2003, 04:12 PM gotcha I think I've veered away from this forum like a bit lately because everything I read anymore is basic bolt on questions.. guess I've taken what I've needed from this place and sorta moved on. :dunno: it happens I guess.. Miataracer 11-13-2003, 04:23 PM hmm... where have you gone to? I am ALWAYS searching to learn more information about my car and I haven't seemed to learn much new here lately. if you have found another fountain of knowledge by all means fill me in! Ricochet 11-13-2003, 04:32 PM I hang around www.columbusracing.com now. I've almost maxed my knowledge (or all I care to know) about Hondas so now I'd rather just chat around with local racers. I've met a lot of cool people and broadened my auto horizons a bit too :) Check google for some local web forums, I think it's more fun to meet up in person with 40+ ppl get togethers and talk about cars than talk to people across the country online. I met a hot girl too and had dinner etc. last night :naughty: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
