Has anyone built, bought, or seen in person any of Aoshima's Mazoora colored kits? I've been looking at them for a bit and was thinking about picking one up. How does the paint look? I'm normally cautious about pre-painted stuff, but this looks cool. Also if anyone has tried Gunze Mazoora paint, thoughts on that would also be appreciated. Thanks.

Hey Joe.. I have the Rx-7 veilsid ekit with the mazoora paint.. Its not a prepainted kit. The plastic is molded in that color. The plasticis kinda trranslucent but it does change colors.. I repainted mine because there was lots of problems with the surface. had some bad mold lines and a bunch of swirls in the color.. So imo the kits should be repainted.. Hope that helps ya some. They're not much good to be honest. I've got an Accord Wagon and you couldn't really use it as is. The plastic does change color but it's vitually see through and even if you did paint the inside black you can see all the flow lines and mold joins in the plastic. I'll be painting this one. I've taken a couple of pics for you....

Very helpful. Thanks for the info guys. Seems like the better choice is paint the car yourself in the Mazoora color.
