V-Mount intercooler... does it work?

In the latest super street magazine, I saw an article on how instead of using a direct front mount intercooler on an FD, they mounted it in a V shape along with the radiator, and using vents on the hood that direct the air directly out of the intercooler, before it ever enters the engine bay, reducing drag and allowing for a colder running intercooler. They say its not easy, and is somewhat of a painful process as it requires lots of fabrication, but... my question, is it worth all of the work? :1zhelp:

gives a alot of power but its a huge hassle...lots of custom piping has to be done and it will cost heaps...you should only consider getting one if you really are in need of more power....but then again you could always turn to water intercoolers but it also has its down falls
