This is my first beamer. It has High Miles 210k. I I bought it in Salt lake and drove it home to Boise, which is about 350 miles away. When I turned it on the next day it was shaking in park. When I move it to neutral it shakes less, in drive it shakes more. I'm thinking I need to increase the idle rpm? I'm not sure. if that is it, does anyone know where the idle control knob is in the engine? Also the car smokes a little from the engine, noithing serious, but it smokes a littel. Any suggestions for a remedy. I really need your help on this one. its my first and I really like it.

service your new motor now with plugs, oil, filters .etc.check for any air/vacuum leaks.
