RX-7 specsjonneyj 11-06-2003, 01:52 PM Hey guys can anyone tell me what the RX-7 in the first fast and the furious movie had added to it besides the NOS?? Steel 11-06-2003, 02:07 PM ..and a lot of stupidass looking bodykit shit. iirc, it was a 12 second car, which is quick, but not the 9 second kill-all that they led you to beleive in F&F. banditkiller 11-06-2003, 08:45 PM It wasnt even a 12 second car......Think it ran 13,... Im pretty sure it was in a magazine. It had a bunch of somewhat expensive worthless crap on it..... PH34R DRFT 11-06-2003, 10:31 PM yeah the 2 most expensive things on it were prolly the veilside b/k and rims oh and the ugly paint job Entreri33 11-06-2003, 11:44 PM No that vielside FD is a high 12 second car. I still think its a sweet ride. NOVA350SS630hp 04-25-2004, 09:02 PM well liking rx 7s and having a 94 , i think that one was race ported, headers, it could have aftermaket turbos or just one turbo you just have to tune the turbos really you dont need nos but he had that like a 200 shot , and lots of other high price parts that one was mostly look but mine is just dark red , droped in about 8 grand and i should had around or below 700hp without nos i dont like using it, you have to rebuild the motor sooner, and in the rx 7 case the motor is only good up to 80 -90 thousand miles then you gotta rebuild it so nos give you power for a while, but you better hope you dont blow the engine while you in the car with a shit lot of NOS MBTN 04-25-2004, 09:08 PM Headers on the turbo huh? NOVA350SS630hp 04-25-2004, 09:13 PM i ment better exe i was looking at this SI got mixed up with the SI so said header (1) hey MBTN you got a RX7, they are fast, light body, the thing i like is that this engine (rotor) use most of its engine power like 70 % or so and it almost has no friction at all flex339 04-25-2004, 10:34 PM I'm sorry to tell you this, but the engine doesn't make 70% power or V.E. It makes power every full stoke unlike the piston which only makes power every other stroke. The rotary makes power 270 degrees out of the 360 I believe. You may mean that, but the two are commonly mixed up, so I thought I'd try to clearify. Soyo 04-26-2004, 04:29 PM anyone else notice that this thread is 5 months old, and utterly pointless on top of that? drftk1d 04-26-2004, 08:27 PM anyone else notice that this thread is 5 months old, and utterly pointless on top of that? Hehe, Soyo, you should be a mod. :iceslolan Soyo 04-26-2004, 09:04 PM I don't think they'll ever let me be a mod, or atleast not untill I stop flaming people in the drifting forum about FF cars not being able to drift... and even then, I doubt it would happen haha vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
