what would happen??

okay i ordered a ECM for my 92 Geo Storm GSi 5-speed manula transmission. well I think the ECM I ordered is for an automatic car, not a manual, but I don't know, there oly was one to get, so I orderd it caus eI need it. so I'm wondering?? would it it the same?? and what would happen if I tryed to run the car?? what would be effected?? or not work?? what exactly woudl happen??

the ecm is data specific to the vehicle when you replace it it has to be programed,TECH1 or equivilent scan tool has to be used to program the EEPROM (electronically Erasable progrrable read only memory). better take it to a shop.
