I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas on lauching a AT turbo car. Trying to shave even more time off my 1/4. Typically i put the car in 2nd with the overdrive off. Pump brakes and launch close to 3 grand. Car won't stay still much past that. At about 60 i put it back in drive and at 80 i turn the over drive back on.

why dont you put it in low? L or 1st whatever is says on your center consol, then just shift up at redline... other than that everything is right, but dont use your Overdrive, you dont need that in the 1/4 mile, it just slows you down!

Referring to the owners manual you should not go past a certain speed in a certain gear. 2nd is about 60 MPH. Right, I have just been playing around with the AT to find the right stuff.

ya know what, rip that section out of the "owners manual" then burn it cause its no good!!! if the owners manual said drive the car off a cliff would ya do it... its not gunna hurt the car any!!! my friend has a A/T GST and he redlines every shift when he races, and he has had his car for 3 years, so if somthings gunna happen to it, it probably should have already!!

Get a high stall torque converter, put in L, slam gas and brake at same time, build boost, release brake.
