I think it would sound perfectly fine

From what I've heard the L7 is very loud (especially when ported) but lacks SQ. I think they're pretty reliable though, you should be fine with a refurb.

L7s get loud but don't sound that great. I blew 3 pairs

i have a brand new 15" Image dynamics IDQ dual 4ohm for sale (usually 230+shipping at online stores). if you're interested, let me know. it'll take up less space, sound better (unless u want boomy bass with that small of a box), and can get damn loud.

IMO, a 15L7 would need at least 4.5 cubic feet ported to sound decently good. unless u are good at EQ'ing to get rid of the peaks in the frequency response. then again, $179 seems like a good deal. how much is shipping on it?

I wouldn't trust a refurb from e-bay man.

I'd Jump on the IDQ before I'd get that L7. The IDQ will sound better. Also if you really want a cheap, good sounding 15...The Adire Tempest is 150 shipped.
