bent rimsKoR3anxBabO 11-02-2003, 11:25 PM i have a set of rims that was given to me and one of then is a little bent on top. will a machine shop fix them up? if not who can put them in nice condition? dbebesi 01-06-2004, 12:59 AM you're talkin mad money to have a rim repaired, and few places do it. most places are in cali. and it runs around 150-200 a wheel, plus shipping. so unless they are really expensive wheels, just replace the damaged one with a new one. if the damaged one holds air... screw it. also, get a rubber mallet, and try to tap the lip back down. just a word of caution, it works about 1/2 the time. other half causes a leak striaght through the wheel. charlieteg 05-23-2004, 07:34 PM same problem for me except they dont make the rim anymore in silver... so i have to buy a white one and get it painted :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: mastermerc 06-02-2004, 12:36 PM my rims aren't bent but the surface is scratched up would they be as expensive to fix and who could fix them, i live in georgia and need the car and don't have original so i can't ship it, any help would be appreciated sofast 06-04-2004, 06:04 PM Where is your location.
