hey guys, about to paint the internal parts before body work. so i was wondering if i should just paint the parts, or prime them with a paint on primer of sorts?

i am starting to paint the engine parts first just to give you an idea.

iv never primed internal parts. iv never seen the point. you can if you want, it certainly wont cause any problems.

I primed all the parts on one of my kits, and it doesnt really make a difference. I primed them all then on my next kit compared the primed peices and the new unprimed peices, and there isnt much difference, other than if the paint is very thin, the primer will make it appear darker

i don't spary or airbrush any small parts to much of a waste of time getting the airbrush out and setting it up this and that....i usally use tamyia or testors model paint and bursh it on...it comes out good
