I just recently bought a 97 4runner limited. When i use the remote to lock the car sometimes it chirps and other times it doesnt. I dont understand why it doenst chirp all the time. Does that make sense??

When you lock the doors and set the alarm, it should beep once. When you unlock the doors and diable the alarm, it should beep twice. If it's not beeping at all, you might want to check and see if the system is working.
