Anyone ever used Tamiya Mica Blue over black undercoat?

I have seen people use white and silver but I want to get a nice dark blue candy finish and was thinking of spraying Mica blue over Black.
Has anyone tried this?
Does it work?
Got any pictures?

Thanks

If you want a dark candy finish, maybe try TS-51 Telefonica blue, that's already a dark blue.

That would look like 3 coat of Telefonica blue

I was thinking that but I was sure Mica blue had a few differences:

1/Its slightly transparent so its more like a Candy finish.

2/ The Mica flakes are smaller .

Is that true or is it just a normal metallic paint.
Basically I want a nice scale metallic finish, because I hate big flaky finishs.

I have used both and I don't think there is a vast difference in the size of the flakes, they look pretty equal to me.

I think Telefonica blue is actually more transparent than mica blue too, although both get darker the more coats are applied.

I did a veilside S2000 kinda like that, excpet I used grey primer I think you will like the color because it was pretty dark, but I didnt like it so I resprayed it with gunmetal.
