1991 pathfinder fuel problemgdavid 10-27-2003, 08:47 PM 1991 pathfinder wrecked with front end damage. started fine before body repair (welded fender parts) battery was disconnected at time of repairs. Now will turn over and will run if gas sprayed directly into intake, but otherwise will not run on it's own. No codes in ECU. Fuel pressure at fuel rail is 50 lbs/psi. Does anyone have any suggestions??? 88pathoffroad 10-28-2003, 01:22 AM Test the injectors all separately? Test for spark on all plug leads? The ignition coil transistor may have been fried...that's the little square deal next to the coil, wired to it. gdavid 10-28-2003, 08:22 PM Test the injectors all separately? Test for spark on all plug leads? The ignition coil transistor may have been fried...that's the little square deal next to the coil, wired to it. Hope I am doing this right. This is the first time that I have used this site. I checked the coil and readings are fine. I have spark to all all plug leads. I am going to check the injectors tomorrow. When I use a spray bottle and spray fuel directly into the intake pipe - it will run fine - idles correctly and everything. Could there still be a problem with injectors??? I was also wondering about the fuel pressure regulator? Does anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks for the help! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
