HELP - Stuck Faceplate

um, I know this sounds stupid but...
My faceplate is stuck on my head unit and won't come off. I really need to get it off of there when I leave my car. I keep pushing the release button and pushing/pulling the face trying to pull it out - but nothing happens.
I just got this stereo (ALPINE CDA-9811) two weeks ago. WTF!!!
Anybody have any tricks or tips?

no no no no no.
First of all, you sure it even comes off? Some just flip backwards and lock in place until you start the ignition. Don't force anything, or pry it off either. :nono:

Um, yeah
I got it after lunch and I started my car back up, it came right out. It does tend to be funky like that. Hopefully it won't be a regular occurence.
