ok so were at my friends house my one friend has a del sol with a gsr and my other friend has a 03 1.8T stock with the ko4 but hes drunk and passed out, one of my friends wakes him and asks to race the sol and he agrees so we go down the road and line em up and my friend in the del is like get a car so we pull up a car *i was in the gti*

so the del has the kick but we have a car so he starts goin and so do we and traction control kicked in and he just flys past us and pulls like 8 cars on us

so we tell him traction control was on and so we lined em up again but we wanted to go from a roll so it was like a 15mph roll and we still had a car and this time we had the kick so my friend slams the clutch and builds boost and lets it out and we pull like 1 1/2-2 cars on the sol ontop of the 1 car lead and the del is inching up until 3rd gear vtec when he just pulls ahead about 2 cars until about 90-100mph

not a bad race, the gti is so quiet all i could hear was the del the whole time

sounds tight i love turbo cars i love heard turbos spool and blow off valves blow lol

Thats nice. I love the del sol's with the gsr engine swap. I know a guy down here that has a sweet lookin del sol with a gsr and turbo. That thing is fast. But even with just the gsr swap you get a lot out of a sol. And I'm surprised that the sol pulled that much on a gti though. Those cars are pretty quick when it comes to more mid to top end power because of turbo and the VW ability to run such high psi on their cars. But I like hearing about honda victories.

the new ones produce 180hp with the ko4 but they still run low boost factory i think its like 6 or 7psi stock, it was really cold and the del was just runnin great and the gti's are loaded, power heated seats....everything but they are still quick cars for so much weight, 3,000 pounds or close to it

Yeah stock out of the box they run low psi, but I saw that someone was running around 16psi in those damn things. And the only way those heavy cars can move is by that turbo too. Otherwise they would get smacked around all day.
