I have a set of rims that i'm going to trow on my car, but before I put them one I want to get some paint off of my wheels and tires. It is some overspray from painting around the wheels. I tried mineral spirits/paint thinner, but it isn't coming off too well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

No, actually I haven't. That was my next step. Acetone is good stuff. Thanks

Well, I didn't have any acetone and didn't have time to get any yesterday. I continued with the paint thinner and it got a lot of it off, but there is still some left. I just had to put it on really heavy and leave it for a minute then scrub.
