My dad got a call today about a car is mass.(not frank's) If any1 know of a car besides franks in that area let me know. The car has low miles and the owner is asking a crazy price of 2mil for it. Sorry that i cant give you any more info about it. I should have more on friday.

I'm fairly confident it would be Chamber's F1 as well. Based on things I have heard about him, asking a 2Mil price wouldn't surprise me.

Incidentally, his car would be one of the 7 Ameritech F1s. That might allow you guys to skirt the "Show & Display" requirement. Just speculation on my part since I have heard that none of the 7 Ameritechs have completed their application yet.

Maybe someone "in the know" can address this further.

It can be one of three cars out there. Herb Chamber's car is one of them.

I assume that Selldorff's would be the second car you are referring to, but what is the third? :confused:

I have heard that the yellow road car #014 is located in New York. I have also heard that a silver F1 with the plate "RL 1" has also been seen in that region of the country.

Were either of those the car you are referring to, or is there another car in that area we aren't aware of? :confused:

I read on the supercars.net forums that it was a black car that was spotted with "RL 1", which I'm guessing is one of Ralph Laurens cars, I'm under the assumption that his other car is "RL 2". To my knowledge both of Ralph's cars are some shade of silver, so don't know why the one spotted was black.

Third one...I heard it's out there. I will confirm it before I say something that turns out to be not true.

The car that was spotted with that plate was definitely silver and not black. I also believe that both of Lauren's cars are silver, though one could have certainly been refitted/repainted at some point.

I don't recall exactly where I got the "RL 1" info, but it wasn't Supercars.net. I really don't value a lot of the information that comes from that site. There seems to be a large grouping of uneducated children who post a lot of BS there. Sometimes it makes it very hard to get the real info out there or challenge those who really don't know what they are talking about. I don't spend time on these forums to argue with people, so for me stuff like that gets old very fast.

SC.net is a great resource for photos, and some of the members posts are worth reading, but the majority just drive me nuts - especially if you happen to wander into the model-specific forums. Stratoraptor will know exactly what I'm referring to. ;)
