Rsx or Celicachadwick4546 10-21-2003, 09:52 AM What is your opionon between a Rsx and Celica? What would you rather have and which ones performance is better? 92teggsr 10-21-2003, 02:43 PM RSX Type-S all the way. It performs better, looks way better and is just all around a way nicer car. But you can probably expect the same kind of responses in a RSX forum..... rjpeterson 10-22-2003, 11:13 PM One important point is the list of standard eq. Items as simple as Cruise Control are options, not standard, on the Celica. The Celica GT-S starts more expensive than the RSX-S and a similarly equipped Celica is far more expensive then the RSX. Celica seems like a nice car, very fast, good breaks, responsive steering. Nice pocket racer, but that is about it. IMHO. Probably really fun to drive hard, but, as I understand it, you have to drive it hard to get anything out of it because the power band is so high and so narrow. The RSX is a more refined and sophisticated car. The RSX should have a higher resale value. The RSX has better reliabilty, build quality, and lower true cost of ownership. The RSX also has a very active aftermarket. That said, if you ask this question on a Celica board you will get 100 reasons why the Celica is better and I doubt they would be wrong. To each their own. Check out the below links: http://www.edmunds.com/reviews/comparison/articles/47901/article.html http://www.caranddriver.com/article.asp?section_id=15&article_id=2373 Again, both are good cars. However, in my humble UNlearned opinion, you get a better car for both the long and short term at less money with the RSX-S. --ryan Skylineperson 10-30-2003, 06:04 PM I my self like the RSX :iceslolan got v-tec? 10-31-2003, 01:15 AM been in both and id deffinitly take the gt-s if you just want a nice looking car with nicer features and in my oppinion looks better (love that there both 6 speeds) but for flat out acceleration and racing the rsx type-s would kill the gt-s hands down. kar_king 11-06-2003, 09:16 AM I like SEX by my self:iceslolan Interesting... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
