2 F1 for salef1esp 10-20-2003, 08:38 PM who knows serial numbers of these 2 cars? thay are sold at www.autosalon-singen.de saludos Peloton25 10-20-2003, 09:00 PM Unfortunately no one. :( The only time I know of that someone visited that showroom recently, neither McLaren F1 was actually there. Some have claimed that they don't actually have a lot of the cars they show on their website. It's also possible they just don't remove them when they sell to help generate traffic to their site. >8^) ER mini magic 10-20-2003, 09:36 PM i was told the same thing by someone, that they don't actually have any cars and their dealings are rather unethical. They claimed to have 5 a few months ago, the manager sent me an email. I truly believe they don't have any. XOTech 10-21-2003, 01:28 AM You may note that the McLarens posted by Auto Salon resurface about once a year or so. They are consignment cars (or were) perhaps long ago, but are reintroduced for publicity. I have been to their facility. They have quite a number of fairly high end cars, but they are all consignment cars. I will certainly give the possibility that they must own at least a few, but none of the cars I expressed interest in or have discussed with them at length were directly owned by Auto Salon. Of the McLarens that I expressed interst in for clients, I found them to be quite illusive and non-productive in providing any relevant or detailed information. Just an opinion. f1esp 11-04-2003, 04:01 PM Another F1 for sale in a german dealer (Schaefer Automobile: McLaren authorised service center in Germany) http://www.mclarenf1.de/angebot01.htm I asked for more info about this car but this was the answer: "Further on it is very important to have a confirmation of funds from an international operating bank for the purchase price of the McLaren F1 (at present at least 1,2 Mill. euro)" mini magic 11-04-2003, 04:24 PM old. sorry McLaren F1 Guy 11-04-2003, 04:24 PM Thats George Harrison's old car, chassis #016, it's supposed to be owned by eric clapton right now Peloton25 11-04-2003, 04:45 PM I don't think that statement is correct unfortunately. While we had thought it was the Aubergine car, it's really the Dark Purple Pearl F1 road car - #025 I believe. >8^) ER McLaren F1 Guy 11-04-2003, 04:47 PM but I remember seeing a clip in a magazine that said harrison wanted an aubergine car Peloton25 11-04-2003, 05:05 PM Harrison did want, and did get, an Aubergine car - but the car in that photo is not his Aubergine F1. As I stated above, the car for sale on the Schaefer site is more than likely the F1 listed as Dark Purple Pearl - chassis #025 I believe. >8^) ER mini magic 11-04-2003, 08:10 PM i'm pretty sure it is. i dunno what other car it could be (unless it got repainted) mini magic 11-04-2003, 08:13 PM btw, this car is Chassis #070: http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_01.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_02.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_05.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_07.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_10.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_14.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_15.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_16.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_17.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_20.jpg http://www.autosalon-singen.de/mclaren/McLaren_F1_08980_0027_03_02_21.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
