Need help

I have a 1996 Honda Accord EX-R (Canadian version of EX w/ f22b1) and have over 320k kms (>200k miles) and find it time for a swap (car just doesn't move anymore). My question is this, i want to swap in an h22 but dont know whether my car is OBD1 or OBD2. I have a feeling that honda changed over to OBD2 in '96+, and if that were the case, any H22 from 96+ should swap in fine right? or am i to exclude the 97+ h22a. thanks in advance.

Your right 1996 is OBD2
