Then view it from your hard disk. jomo12345 10-19-2003, 04:08 PM How much do you think the winning le mans car would cost? mini magic 10-19-2003, 04:20 PM i highly doubt they would sell it, it would probably be 7mil + maartenvanthek 10-19-2003, 04:51 PM it'd cost too much you don't dare to drive it, and it's not that big fun saying you have the 95 le mans winning car better buy 075, last road car ever, and it's much more driveable jomo12345 10-19-2003, 04:55 PM buying that car didnt even come into my mind i was just wondering how much it would cost thats all scoob 10-19-2003, 05:55 PM buying that car didnt even come into my mind i was just wondering how much it would cost thats all I would guess about £1.3M ($2.2M) after reading http://www.qv500.com/mclarenf1mr.htm although at an auction anything could happen. Stratoraptor 10-19-2003, 06:18 PM No you cannot see the pics. Right-click where you see the icon with the red x in it or where you see the placeholders for the pics. Then click Save Target As... Then save it to your hard disk. Then view it from your hard disk. still doesnt work. i save the images to my harddrive, but when i try to open them, it says that i cant view them beacuse they contain errors. Peloton25 10-19-2003, 06:41 PM They work for me - unfortunately I had them already. I'd mirror them somewhere else, but I don't have a place I can post an image file that size. Here are smaller versions so at least you guys know which pics these are. http://a9.cpimg.com/image/99/5F/24882329-31c6-028001E0-.jpg This one is 3664x2332 @ 6.95 MB http://a7.cpimg.com/image/8D/5F/24882317-959f-028001E0-.jpg This one is 3664x2332 @ 2.65MB >8^) ER mini magic 10-19-2003, 06:50 PM I would guess about £1.3M ($2.2M) after reading http://www.qv500.com/mclarenf1mr.htm although at an auction anything could happen. thats wrong, they don't know the price since it has never been sold scoob 10-20-2003, 12:41 AM No one knows a price that someone will pay until it's sold - but you can estimate or should I say speculate. As I said in my first post, "anything can happen" at an auction depending upon who's in the auction room on the day and how badly they want the car. XOTech 10-21-2003, 02:20 AM I made mention of this in the "Christies" thread, but the car up for sale is not #075. It is not the last Mclaren built. It also bears a non-original paint color, that is still not the Yquem of #075 (which I find more attractive than the Christies car). As for the price of the LMs, I have been aware of owners that have been offered $3M without accepting for their LM. It is likely that the current owners of the LMs will never sell their cars and may even remain as a family inheritance upon the passing of the owner. I am not saying that it isn't possible, only very unlikely. Speculation could be as high as $5M As for the winning LeMans GTR. It certainly does have historical significance with a very prominant win at LeMans, but I do still think the car will not command as high of a price as an LM. I am not certain as to the whereabout of GTR #01R, its condition, or the situation of its ownership, but it may one day come up for sale. Many of them are and many have changed hands in the last year or so. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
