Can someone help me...trying to replace a brake line pass. side on 1980 chevy c10 p/u. I got most of the old brake line off, except for the top section which threads towards the engine bay, there is a solid line on the opposite side that thread into the top of the hose. I cant seem to get it off, I figure if I turn the fitting on the top of the hose it would come off, but it only turns slightly and wont go anymore, so I attempted to turn the backside nut which is very difficult to get to or get any type of a small crescent wrench in there but not luck.

Anyone have any ideas or advice?

Thanks

the hose is held to inside of frame rail by a larger nut thats screwed onto over end of hose, look carefully, they are no fun to get to with engine in the compartment.

if you have a line wrench, you'll be able to get a better bite o the nut. but that only works if you have one, or know someone that dose.

cut the line and try to get an impact on it... then replace the line
