is carbon fibre worth it?

would a carbon fibre hood make a difference on my 2000 integra? the hood doesn't seem very heavy as it is. and carbon fibre is expencive, so i'm not sure if it is worth the money.

carbon fiber hoods are way lighter than the stock hoods, but don't expect your teg to see signifcant gains in speed. the difference would only be around 15-25lbs less. yes it would lighten your load, but most people buy for the style. i actually bought mine cause it was cheaper than an oem hood, can u belive that? to get a stock hood and get it painted and uv coating and labor came up to $900. with the c/f hood theres no paint involve and u can put it on yourself. i got mine for aroung $600, the oem c/f hoods were aonly around $350.
