I need help in programming my keyless entry remote that I have. Just recently bought the car without the remote. I bought one but I can't figure out how to program it.

Thanks

I found some info from Mitchell. According to them the wireless door lock ECU should be located below the radio in the center console (this method wont work if you have the type where the ECU is under the driver seat, nor on later VIP 3200 systems). You can access the wireless remote programing connector through the remote control mirror connector on the dash. All you need to do is pop out the panel on the dash with the mirror controls and disconnect the mirror control connector plug. I don't have the wire colors but from the diagram it looks like the far right wire is the programming wire and the one next to it should be a grounded wire (you should verify this to be sure you have the correct two wires). To enter programming mode connect a jumper wire between these two. All the locks should lock then unlock to confirm programming mode is entered. Press any single button on a transmitter, and the doors should lock & unlock to confirm. You can repeat with another transmiter. Remove the jumper wire to exit programming mode. Good luck.
