My Civic Type R engine is jdm because it was shipped from Japan. They don't make jdm parts in the states, so they end up being pretty rare/expensive but in turn are of higher quality and performance. Some jdm-crazed people will pay hundreds for jdm clocks, flares, mirrors, turn signals etc.
