almost any turbo will work it's just how much work will it take to do it. before you start buying stuff you should research and see what all you need to make the T25 fit. I believe you can get a manifold off of ebay for like 150 an then you'll have to look for a T25 flange to adapt the turbo to the manifold since the manifold im talking about is for a t3 or t3/t4 hybrid. check out www.homemadeturbo.com lots of knowledge from that site more knowledge equals more horsepower.

IMHO i think the T-25 is too small. If your just looking for a little more power, i think it would be great, but otherwise... i think a T3/T4 would be more appropriate.

my eclipse has a T25. It is a small turbo but it packs a huge punch. Point being I run 12psi and the possible 15psi with my Manual boost controller. Reason people complain is because you cant go past 15psi or the thing will blow. So owell, The eclipse is a 140hp Engine, then with the T25 its 210hp. Thats a damn good gain only at 12PSI. I think the T25 in a GSR would be more than enough. The t25 is a good choice mainly because in the DSM world the 95-99(2g) eclipses are always getting rid of their turbos left and right to get the 16g Turbo... You can take advantage of this situation and pick up a T25 with 50k miles on it for 150 bucks from anywhere. try www.ebay.com or www.dsmtrader.com

Hope this helped.

well, the NA eclipses are powered by the 420A neon engine. the turbo eclipses have the 4G63, so its not really giving you that much power from the turbo, completely different engines.

no, i know. Im saying that its said (even though its never been done) our cars are rated around 140hp Without the Turbo. Its a completly different engine than the GS,RS yet it has the same displacement and said to be same horsepower.

I know that technically a NA setup would yeil more power than a non-operational turbo setup like the example IM about to give, but its all I got.

my friend has a 91 GST, and for some reason(wastegate stuck open is what i tel him to check but hen never does) he just never gets boost, so if he wasnt turning a turbo that in turn never gavce anything back hed be quickler, bu let me tell you that car is DIRT slow, Im talking one of the slowest cars ive ever ridden in. and I heard that 1st gens were like 7.8:1 and 2nds are in the low 8:1's

I dont see an engine that has 210HP on 12 pounds of boost with low compression is goign to have 140 with no boost on it.

I think itd have like 100 or so. lol I dont know really, but isnt like 7psi on a integra that started with 140 put it somewhere near the 200 mark. and a 92 gsr isnt going to take 12 pounds anyways until he builds it up.

Point being for the kid who wants to turbo his GSR. I believe alot of people will agree the T25 is a good choice. Its not an amazing turbo. Yet it gets the job done for dirt cheap.

ok, mine was cheaper. lol

I got a IHI RBH5 i think form an old probe gt turbo sitting on my shelf, no shaft play at all and it spins nicely, 17 bucks at a junkyard. just have nothing for it.

well, I dont know, but a friend of mine down in cali that I grew up with, his dad owns a shop, and he now works ful time there. its called muffler man and I talk to him still every opnce ina while and if I were to take my car down there for exhaust I get everything at cost and free install, and basically I can use the tools, so I was just going to make my own manifold and downpipe. as well as bend my own IC piping. I was thinking of putting it on my ZC in my hatch, but I am getting rid of it since I wont even be driving for the next 2-3 months, so its still just gonna sit on the shelf for a while longer. maybe throw some boost at my b20 which is also hjust sitting in storage. cant wait til i get back cuz im gonna have cash and all the timeI want to build a car.
