Ford has the Oasis database thing where you can type in a VIN and get the service records for the car if it was serviced at the dealer.

Does anyone know if Hyundai has that type of thing?

I can't answer my question, but since then I went to a Hyundai dealer and asked, they said they only keep track of warranty work. Who knows,

The c ar in question was a 99 accent 60K+, which has an oil streak along the hood as though an oil seal went and was replaced. I would think that would be covered under the warranty, but it was not in hyundai's record.

I was hoping to use this to get a good idea of when the timing belt was changed. The belt did not look too old, and still felt rubbery, not "plasticky" so that is the long story behind that.
