Well I finally solved my problem. I noticed a bad spot on my positive cable that runs from the battery to the relay box. I replaced that cable and havent had any problems with the truck dying since. It runs so much better now. It's great I can actually use my turn signals now... Also, my check engine light hasnt come on since then either. maybe the EGR is good after all. Does anyone know what would cause my truck to smell like its running rich. The fumes are very strong coming out of the exhaust. Thanks for all the help...

I can't find the rest of your thread. Wanted to know what it was doing. I am about to use my FORD to drag my old mans truck into the highway. Left turn at 50 plus mph wants to shut truck down. Now it is worse No turns signals/no cruise and the flasher cycles all the time with key on. New Flasher, turnsignal switch assembly, new cruise switch.
