The sound of sweetness?

I have a BMW V-12 project that will have a lot of custom work. One major change is the exhaust system. I am making up a set of headers and later on I will finish the rest of the system.
Has anyone heard a 750 IL with a healthy set of pipes? The only ones that I have heard is the quiet, cushy mobiles. The tires make more noise than the engine. I was just wondering if it will have that sweet sound of other (Ferrari) V-12s.
Any info will surely help.
thanks,

In the land of it's origin, I have heard some great sounds.

The distance from Munich to Maranello is about 200 miles.

With the catalyst removed the rasping starts to become available.

With a good set of mufflers the difference between a Ferrari and a BMW are only in the price tags.

Remember a Ferrari is a 12 cylinder motorcycle so to run with the big dogs you will need to drop some weight.
