Pinto vs CVH for kitcar

Morning all,

I am trading off between the CVH 1600, and the Pinto 2.0 for a kitcar project (MK Indy).

What are the weights of each engine, fully dressed?? The engine will run twin dellortos or weber DCOE 45(?)s

Also, i want to be able to fit the engine to a Type 9 'box. I know the Pinto mates up to this box, but does the CVH 1600??

Is there any way of modifying the type 9 box to move the gear lever further back? i.e. further along the prop shaft, as without one of those naff, wobbly gear linkage extenders everyone uses, the gear lever either has to have a tractor style dogleg in it, or it is stuffed up under the scuttle.

As a last question, can the DCOEs / dellorto equivalents be modified to run a turbo. I beleive the float chambers have to see turbo pressure, and hence it might just be a case of hooking a couple of pressure hoses up the the float chambers??

Thanks in advance.
Ed Crouch.
