I have three sets of steel rims from older vehicles that I would like to sell but, other than telling prospective buyers the particulars of the vehicle they came from, how can I find out what other vehicles they fit? What information can be gained from the markings stamped on the rims? Can this be used to look up an application chart?

well i'm no pro but I think I can help you. Look for a bolt pattern there should be numbers for lugs and offset EG 4x100 5x120. Also if you list the cars they came off someone will be able to tell you what else they fit sorry I can't help more good luck Max

There is no conversion chart . . . I would recommend going to forums of the respective vehicles and posting in the for sale sections of these sites.
