Anti lock brake light and stuck in Parknewcat 10-11-2003, 06:47 PM I should have titled the post anti lock brake problem. Thanks for any help! You could save our marriage :) fordin K 10-16-2003, 11:12 PM so what's the problem ?? if your anti lock brake lite is on, then your base brake systems still works. if it is stuck in park, then your brake pedal switch maybe adjusted wrong or connection loose. give more details.. ervinj 11-09-2003, 12:44 AM Sometimes the sensor inside the rear housing gets dirty. If the light comes on and you don't notice a difference in the way it brakes you can remove the cover on the rear and spray clean the sensor with brake cleaner. This has taken care of the problem for me on several occasions. ervinj trukasaurus 12-13-2003, 04:46 PM I had this same problem on my 94 f150, under the hood is another fuse box, there is probally a fuse blown which will not let the vehicle shift out of park. The Ford owners manual does make mention of this problem. If you can't find it, let me know and i will have a look. Keep me informed. Good luck :evillol: newcat 12-14-2003, 11:50 PM I had this same problem on my 94 f150, under the hood is another fuse box, there is probally a fuse blown which will not let the vehicle shift out of park. Good luck :evillol: Well you all may not believe this, but it was the cruise deactivation switch located on the master cylinder that was shorting out the 15 watt fuse. WOW, did that rack a lot of brains, but my husband was looking under the hood when I noticed the glowing red part and the brilliant man finally found the problem. I appreciate ALL the advice. Maybe this will help someone one day. Thanks again. Happy Holidays. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
