I have a 97 Jetta GLX, and my problem is not my fuel pump, it works perfectly fine, but when I crank the engine to start it the fuel pump is cutting out. What could be the cause of my problem, is there a seperate relay or is it a wire to the ignition switch? Any ideas would be very helpful.

since noone knows the answer I finally traced it back to my ignition switch, I pinched a wire installing my stereo which shorted out my ignition switch. :banghead:
