R34's no longer in compliance!?!?Rain-eC 10-09-2003, 04:29 PM well i IMed RBMotoring, and asked if they could legalize a 99 GT-R34, and i was informed that the Certificate of Compliance is Expired (motorex fault) omg :(.... Well this might have been brought up b4, sorry if it has, jus wanted to tell you, i have the im msg and i will post it now, CrystalineElf is my AIM name..... CrystalineElf: Hi. Are you there? RB Motoring: sorry, I wasn't in front of my console RB Motoring: actually, the certificate of compliance for R34's has expired. RB Motoring: (motorex's fault) RB Motoring: so R34's at the moment can not be legalized under the DOT. CrystalineElf: ughhhh sux RB Motoring: and EPA can't do CA for 1996 and up. CrystalineElf: soooo r u guys gonna try to get it complied or w/e CrystalineElf: ? RB Motoring: yes. RB Motoring: yes, we will be re-applying for that certificate, however, that process can take up to one calendar year. CrystalineElf: omg.... RB Motoring: it took us about 7 months to be a Registered Importer. RB Motoring: and 6.5 mos of that was "waiting".
