Here's the problem. I have an '88 Camry with a break fluid leak INSIDE THE CAR ???
The master cylinder seems OK and the car stops fine except for a small amount of "pulsating" in the pedel.
The fluid level goes down slowly. This weekend I looked under the dash and the mat and lower valance panel was saturated with brake fluid !?
Is the leak from the master cylinder or the break booster seals??
How much of a hassle is this situation to fix? (I'm very mechanical)
Thanks for any help.

The leak is coming from the master cylinder......it is running down the plunger onto the break pedal top and down the inside to the floor area.

It requires a bit of "upside down" maneuvering .....but is not difficult to fix.....just replace the master cyliner.....done!

Thanks for your help. I was beginning to wonder if anyone reads this forum.
I'll change the master cylinder.
