Hi everybody!

I'm looking at a '90 camry with 94,700 miles on it. There was virtually NO highway driving on it, no accidents. Will it last? Street driving puts a lot of wear on an engine. What's the average life-span of a camry?

Thanks!

It depends if they took care of it. I have 165,000 on my 91 camry and it still runs great. Maybe half of the miles were freeway.

I have an 89 with over 385,000 on it I recently pulled the engine and transplanted it into my race Camry .....I purchased new bearings and oil pump.....there was no appreciable wear on the old bearings (both plasti-guaged the exact same --old and new--)
-point is, it runs great and as long as you don't over heat it .....yours will continue to run great too!
