:banghead: The Skyline has been my favorite car since 1993. At that time I was only ten. Now people tell me that the JapMonster (Skyline) is illegal in the U.S. Why??? Anyway I own Honda Accord now, but I GOT TO HAVE THAT SKYLINE. If I could get one how bad would my insurance be?

Skylines are not illegal in the states persay. They have to be worked on to meet certain criteria which DOT require.

Call your insurance company and find out.

If I did I wouldn't have asked, so you just made yourself look like

just like the type R series, the tommykaira cars, and all that other bull,
the skyline series was never meant for us consumption.
the closest you can get is either Motorex or get a V35 (infinity G35) in the us, which, unforunately is not a GTR.
wait another few years to see if the next GTR is actually coming here.

p.s i'm not sure, but isn't there a 10yr loophole for these cars?

you know what the car is, so you'd assumedly have some knowledge of what it takes to get it here. you've liked it for ten years, and even through all of that, you don't know who motorex is?

there are stickied threads at the top of the forum. there is a search function for finding these answers for yourself.

it gets old answering the same thing when you know there's a hundred other threads about the same topic in the same section of the forum.
