Who would have thought that it would snow on October 2nd... I didnt! On my way to school Thursday I went to stop after it snowing for just 2 minuets and my tires locked up and I slid into the back fo a pickup. I would have been fine had the roads just been wet (like I thought they were) I didnt think of it being slippery. Now I have a V shaped hood, busted headlights and grill, and my radiator got pushed back into the engine bay. I guess they want 1700 to fix it, I would have passed on having it fixed, but it was in showroom condition with only 78k miles on it, so I figured to take the hit and have her fixed. I hate the fact that winter is on the way, those of you in Florida and Cali are lucky!

next time your brakes lock up on ice, let off the brake and turn the wheels, if this does not work turn and use the e-brake, then let it down when you have your nose pointed away from impact. Then apply slight brake pressure to the threshold of locking up. If this is not your nature instinct or it sounds too complicated, go to a car control driving school and learn to drive.

believe me when something like this happens you dont have time to think. hmmmm what should i do? i crashed my car into a curb and flew into a ditch at 25 mph, and believe me they were ways to prevent it, but at that time, u dont have time to think of what to do.

thats not true, you dont have time if you can't control your car, i spend my free time as a professional driving instructor, spending all day teaching people how to react in this exact situation, so once again, if avoidance isn't natural go to school and learn to control your car. I also vintage race a Triumph TR6 and AutoX almost every weekend, so before you try to pretend to know how to drive, really take the time to learn.

Well, with a job, going to REAL school, and having a life, I dont got time for driving schools, not to mention the $$$...... Anyway, I got my car back last week, and it looks as good as new! I went out and got snow tires put on my stock wheels that way I wouldnt have to go into winter on my 16's with V Rate tires.

Since we are talking about REAL school, lets add that I own my own performance shop, where there is me and another employee working full time, i'm taking 18 credits a semester in college, on top of working on my cars and being a driving instructor. So there is no excuses that if you cant drive, either get educated or stay off the roads.

I guess your right, you are way sweeter than me, you own an awesome business, take more credits than me, and are a driving instructor. I mean, come one, I cant beat that. I guess I have no choice, I better hang up my keys now and get out the old bike.... I would rather ride that than take lessons from a person such as yourself.

and who the **** are you exactly? i doubt your some superhuman driver so stfu unless you plan on going to ohio and teachin him to drive "right" yourself. if you can dig your head outta your ass for 5 minutes you might be able to see that not everyone is perfect and a skilled professional at driving. 500$ says this guys been in a lot of accidents but denies every one of them

I never said i was a superhuman driver, and funny you mentioned ohio, the first driving school i went to was when i was 16 at mid-ohio for their teen car control school. which is a great program and what i was suggesting. i've actually been in one accident and my car was totalled, i was t-boned by a drunk driver who was driving at night without head lights on. but thanks for asking

That sucks about your car but glad to hear you got it fixed. I had just bought my 02 accord and was cruzin down the freeway when a Mustang decided she wanted my lane, and like in a hurry, slammed me into a gaurdrail.... I jsut got the thing back and it looks almost as good as new. I can still tell where the damage was but i am just glad to get my car back and to be out of the POS Nissan altima...
