All right, my left window has been partiall open for about a week now. For some reason my car seems to act like the window lock is on every once in a while. This means I can't roll the windows up or down on either side. Anybody know a way I could get them working again, or possibly just manually get the window up? I mean, if I can just have my window up for now, I'd be happy. Please reply as soon as you can. I live in florida, and it loves to rain here.

Thanks,
Jared

P.S. Sorry, I didn't know it didn't list my car specs.
I have a 1996 Mazda MX-6 M-Edition
thanks

Hey I think I have a solution for you, I also own an MX6 and I have some problems with it too but here goes.
Take the panel off the door, unplug the wires from the window switches, take the power from the battery (negative and positive), and touch both of them to the terminals that come from the power window wires. And this way you can open and close the window. If the window starts opening then switch the wires on the plug.

I hope this helps.
good luck

Thanks. I got them up already, although I'm really not sure how I did it. But, that sounds like a logical way to get it to work in case something like this happens again.

thanks again,
Jared

No, I don't think that is the problem. Like I said it's on both sides of the car. It's some sort of problem with either the lock button or the wiring I think. Every once in a while it works fine though. Although it's going for longer and longer without working as time goes by.
