:screwy: I was recently at a rim specialty shop and they said to me that I could go no wider than 7.5 width w/ 225's, if i would go higher in the width the man said the tires will rub the fender wells.
I want to go with 19's but ill be damed if im gonna have skinny tires.

So I need to know who went wide and who did or did not have problems!!! :screwy:

from what i heard (AGAIN  ) you can go with 8" wide rims, but you need to have high offset rims, +45mm and above. i'd go higher then +45mm if i was planning on lowering my car or its already lowered.

rims with offset +45mm and above is not common as with +38mm offset and shop that you went to most likely didn't have anything that would suite your car, but they wanted to sell you something.
