From what I have been reading, the Charger will have 4 doors, Base model will have the 250 HP 3.5 V6 with the 345 HP 5.7 Hemi in the R/T version. The larger 6.1 Hemi is slated to go into a variant of the Chrysler 300C called the 300C SRT8. That engine is said to have 425HP.

The car IS pretty nice, but I think the grill ruins it. Yeah, I liked the 99 concept much better too.

Sorry to get off the subject guys,xxxRocker5150, you ever want to shoot the breeze about VH, just email me, eh?
Speaking of Hemis, or V-8's for that matter, why didn't Chrysler ever put a V-8 in the Prowler? I think that would've added a nice touch to the car.

enh, the prowler in my opinoin was just more for like looks and show, not for like fast driving, kinda like the 1972 volvo p1800's (the ones that the saint drove), they were made for looks and sound. I dunno the prowler is a pretty nice car tho. OHh and speaking of Van Halen, I just recently got a signed picture of him adressed to me.

Dodge is gonna have some good cars out there on the roads. Between the Charger and the Magnum, they oughtta be doing pretty well.

Ahahahahahhahahahaha!!! Look at my avatar. That is a REAL Charger. 2 doors. A 4 door sedan will NEVER be a Charger. I can put Roadrunner badges on a Neon, but that don't make it a Roadrunner. When they make a 2 door version, then I will be happy. Also, the grill looks ugly. Like a fish, with a hook in its mouth. I hate you, Trevor Creed, for slapping the Charger name on this. Coronet would be more appropriate.

The way I see it, Dodge has already built the best cars that we'll ever see again. Both my cars are over 20 years old, and they still run and drive like they're 2 years old. I shouldn't have to buy another vehicle for another 20 years at least, and when I do, it will probably be a car from the eighties or early nineties. I don't care for what they're building now, I'm satisfied with what I have.

I never really learned anything about mechanics. I never had to because my cars never gave me any major problems. They're Mopars, what are you gonna do? LOL!

I'm as unhappy as the rest of you about the Charger being a sedan, but really, it was the smart business move. And although ChryCo's rejuvenation has been successful so far, it's not done yet, so they need to be making the smartest business choices they can. Also, there is another good reason for making the Charger a sedan: I believe it will pretty much completely replace the Crown Victoria as the cop car of choice. I wonder what the Dukes of Hazzard boys would say.

Here's a picture of the Charger police cruiser which should be hitting streets soon.

The Charger police cruiser does look pretty incredible. Cops should be excited to be driving these as opposed to their old Crown Vics.
