:newbie: question... could i use your engine on a 92 240. Another question does it matter that yours is an auto and mine would be a manual? I have heard people on here doing the transmission swap but i don't know how it goes when you want to swap into the car that is not the same transmission from the start. Thanks. I hope i don't get flamed for this.

Hey, how is the dashboard? If it is in good condition and not cracked I would love to have it! How much would you ask? And since I'm just down in Oregon I could easily just come get it from you and save the terrible expense of shipping.

Yes you could use the motor. The transmission wouldn't matter, it just bolts on, so you could bolt your 5 spd tranny onto the motor.

Dashboard is in great shope, not cracked. The car is in northern oregon, so you're welcome to come get it. I'll see what my cousin wants for it and get back to you.
