plastic side moldingsMilky720 09-28-2003, 07:18 PM hey, does anyone know how to remove the plastic side moldings and doesn anyone know of a good hiding spot anywhere in the car? Schludwiller 09-29-2003, 01:32 PM Use a heat gun or dryer to soften the adhesive backing before removing. Dental floss works on factory badging, etc that is glued onto paint, but that's such a long surface I don't know if it would work. No there aren't many hiding spaces in the truck without removing plastic panelling. Milky720 09-30-2003, 12:54 AM thanks for the help with the moldings and when i try it ill let u know how it works. For the hiding spots, i dont really care that i have to remove the plastic paneling, i just want to know if there are any good hiding spots. Toy Man 10-04-2003, 08:05 AM There are several. Use your imagination. If we told you where they were, they would not be hiding places. Toy Man rockmozart13 10-08-2009, 10:27 AM good luck getting that double sided tape off the moldings. I took them off with the intention of respraying them and putting them back on, after 4 hours, cleared the tape off one of them, realized I had three left and said F*** it. rubbing alchol, goo-b-gone, paint-thinner, nothing worked. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
