yeah it was a black one, kept the tires spewing smoke the whole track, pretty good job compared to what the other dudes were doing lol.

Hahaha yeah that was me. It was a fun time. I think the video from this wednesday will be much more interesting.

That 350z is now supercharged, intercooled and kitted.

The black coupe is well still stock like last time.

Signal Auto was there drifting with us.

Everyone in the event kicked it up a notch because there were concrete barriers around the whole track:

too bad the Signal boys hit each other. i heard they were out again with no bumpers within hours. i bet the cars look even better all boro-boro without bumpers. :iceslolan i saw them this past weekend (20-21) at the event in Canada, and all i can say is wow. it was incredible. unfortunatley, since my Infiniti M30 still doesn't have a working transmission, i was unable to enter the amateur competition. but next time, for sure, i'll be out there!

I was extremely impressed with the speed that they got that car running.

There was no major damage.

The radiator core support was bent on both cars and the piping took a hit.

The zipped it up. Filled it up and ran them again.

It was insane.

They were doing donuts at about 30mph, at night, with small headlights, and lost their placement.

I did the same with Chris. He was drifting the inside of the ring while I was on the outside and I lost him for a few.

yeah they really shouldn't run those cars at night with only those little fog lights in the bumper openings. i saw them at the event and it didn't even hit me as to why they were there. good thing they didn't damage too bad though and good thing everyone was alright. i thought the V-Mount on Kuroi's car was definitley damaged from the pic that i saw. i haven't been able to find a good pic of the damage to Bai's car yet though...

Neither one has headlights. Those covers are just sheetmetal.

Night time is scary time. Everything "just pops up".

Cones walls and other cars.

i know. that's why i'm saying they shouldn't be running them with JUST those little fog-lights in the bumpers. maybe invest in larger, rally-style ones or something that would light up the track a little bit better.

They are HID fogs if I am correct. And screw that the more danger the better!

There should have been rain dammit RAIN!

our event was weird that way. the Friday before, we got what was left of Isabel. it was raining and windy all day. then Saturday and Sunday were beautiful! bright, sunny, cloudless, warm days. i actually got sunburnt! and then monday? i woke up, and it was pouring rain again! i guess the Dori-Gods did us a favour that weekend.

Columbia Rainsuit. I have one folded up in my footlocker. I spent the weekend in VIR being a set of hands for my crew soaked like a frozen rat.

That will never happen again.

It was horrible.
