Hi all,
After driving for half an hour or so, engine will just stop. I can re-crank it with no problems, but it continues to stop every few miles. I have replaced wires, plugs, cap and rotor and checked timing. Nothing helped. Has anyone else experienced this, or has any ideas that might help. I've done a forum search but did'nt see any thing like i'm experiencing.

1990 Nissan sentra wagon e16 engine.

Thanks,
Randy

have you checked your throttle/idle i would try cleaning it out with throttle cleaner then check your idle if not at 750rpm when warm then you obviously have an idling problem which can be caused by multiple things, usually a bad pressure valve

Where is the fuel pump in this car located. The repair manual says it is a mechanical one but i looked and there is a fuse for a pump? Meaning it should be an electric one. Does any one have a link to repair info for this car......

Well, after a $40 fuel pump (junk yard) I took it to a shop and they found that the air flow sensor was bad ($225 + labor) . POS is on the road again...
Thanks all,
